Plant GOSlim Assignment of Rice Proteins
 

Plant GOSlim ontologies, which are a simple version of Gene Ontologies. were assigned to proteins encoded in the rice genome by using BLASTP to search against Arabidopsis thaliana proteome, TAIR 8 Genome Release. Hypothetical/conserved hypothetical/expressed proteins, TE-related proteins and proteins only assigned with GO ids with "unknown" definitions were excluded from this analysis. A total of 18,309 loci in release 6.1 have been assigned Gene Ontologies with a total of 77,978 associations made.
