Rice Genome Annotation Database

The rice pseudomolecules were constructed using all rice BAC/PAC sequences (phase 2 and phase 3) in GenBank/EMBL/DDBJ based on the tiling paths obtained from the IRGSP. The pseudomolecules were then processed and annotated following our stardard annotation procedure. Annotated sequences can be searched on the Rice Genome Annotation Project BLAST Server, searched by gene name, clone name and locus identifier. The annotated results can be viewed based on their map position. Please note that the database is updated on a periodic basis. Please register with the site to be informed of new releases.

Pseudomolecules Provides searches and sequence download for the newly released non-overlapping pseudomolecule sequences with annotation for the 12 rice chromosomes.
Clone Search Obtain a gene report for a specific clone name.
Gene Name Search Text search of the putative identifications in the Gene Identification Table.
Sequence Search Provides BLAST searches of nucleotide or peptide sequences against predicted coding regions or the entire genome.
Locus Search Obtain a report on a predicted coding region by locus number.
Feat Name Search Obtain related information for a specific rice gene by feat name (e.g., 13101.t00001 or 13110.m03270)
Domain Search Provides searches of peptide sequences containing Pfam domains and Interpro Database Hits in the rice proteome.
Motif Search Provides searches of peptide sequences containing signal peptides and transmembrane helices in the rice proteome.
tRNA Gene Search List tRNAs by chromosome.
